New accounts get a 6-digit code by email to confirm the address is real. There's still no automated "forgot password" flow — you're responsible for remembering your own password.

Why no password reset?

Self-service password reset means anyone who breaks into your email can also take over your account. Keeping resets manual and admin-confirmed is a deliberate tradeoff — treat your password like you would any account with no automatic safety net.
